目的とは

JSTSとは『持続可能な社会構築への貢献のための科学技術に関する日本セミナー』の英語名Japan Seminar on Technology for Sustainabilityの頭文字を意味しており、高専、技科大、海外の大学を対象とした、科学技術に関するセミナーをいう。

本セミナーではSDGs17をベースとしたワークショップによる知識の習得だけでなく、様々な文化、言語交流活動を通して、グローバル化した現代に不可⽋な『グローバルコミュニケーション能⼒』と、多様な集団の中で協働する『ファシリテーション能力』の向上を目指す。

Japan Seminar on Technology for Sustainability 2022 (JSTS 2022)

Purpose

The purpose of this seminar is not only to gain knowledge based on SDGs17 but also to enhance global communication skills and facilitation skills which are indispensable to work with diverse groups in this globalized society.

テーマ

『みんなを笑顔にする超スマート社会とクリーンエネルギーの実現』

本セミナーでは講義を通して、SDGsの基礎を学び、それを踏まえて少人数のチームでグループワークを行う。 このグループワークでは、SDGs17の項目に沿った多角的な視点での問題提起を行い、その解決策を考え、動画を含んだプレゼンテーションを行う。

異なる文化を持つ、同世代の学生と一緒に英語でディスカッションを行いながら、SDGsを通した視点で、超スマート社会とクリーンエネルギー実現に貢献できる人材を育成する。

Theme

Realization of “Super-smart society and clean energy” that leads to social happiness

All the participants will work on a project in small groups by utilizing basic knowledge of SDGs learned through the seminar. Each group will pick one of the issues concerning SDGs17 and search for the solutions from different angles. Each group needs to make a presentation that includes a short movie.

The participants will have opportunities to discuss and work with the students from different cultures and perspectives so that they are able to not only improve their English skills but also nurture their diverse mentality to become individuals who will contribute to realization of “Super-smart society and clean energy”.
