Urban Environmental Design Course
01 Engineers We Aim to Develop
In this course, students acquire a broad range of fundamental knowledge required to build a safe and secure society in harmony with the natural environment. We aim to develop civil engineers who can work both in Japan and internationally, collaborating with universities in Japan and abroad, and contributing to projects on a global scale.
02 What Makes Us Unique
Students acquire technologies needed to solve various issues faced by modern cities. These include construction technologies related to the development of social infrastructure such as bridges and tunnels, disaster prevention technologies to mitigate natural hazards, and environmental technologies for preventing and restoring environmental damage caused by development. In addition, students study information technologies to support the digital transformation (DX) of the construction industry. Furthermore, the curriculum offers courses that enable students to become eligible to take the Second-Class Architect (Nikyū Kenchikushi) examination after graduation.
